Auto Friend Adding Machine 4.0
FAQ and Help

Adder Modes

At the top of the program you will notice various tabs, like Add, Comment, Message, Bulletin, etc. Click on one of these tab buttons to select the mode you want to run the software in. Once you select the mode, input your login and click start to kick of the automation.

Add Mode

Basic Settings

  • Add mode allows you to add friends automatically.
  • Once you click on add mode, you will see four different tabs, Keyword, Friend, Group and Statistics. Each of these tabs allows you to add new friends in a different way
  • Keyword - Allows you to type in a specific word that must be present on the other persons profile. This is great if you are searching for such things, as "hip hop", "Minimal Techno", etc. The more specific the search phrase, the more precise the search is. Once all the known profiles with that keyword have been added (or asked), the program will let you know to select a different keyword.
  • Friend - Allows you to add friends from a "friend", meaning you can add another persons friend list. Just put in the friends page url. Simply go to the friends main page and copy that address and put it in the box. http://www.myspace.com/tom <- is an example or http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=XXXX where the XXXX is a friends ID. The program will automatically go to that person and read their list.
  • Group - Allows you to add from a myspace group. This works exactly how adding from a friend does, except you can put in the url to a group. http://groups.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=groups.groupProfile&groupID=XXX again where XXXX is the ID of the group.
  • Statistics - Utilizes the existing myspace search page. When you select this mode the program will stop and let you modify the myspace browse for friends page. Once you click on continue it will go through the list.

Properties

  • People To Add - sets the amount of people the software will try to add during that run.
  • Delay - sets the amount of time between adds. This setting allows you to slow down adding if you are worried about using too many myspace resources. Set this to 0 and 0, if you want the quickest add.
  • Leave Comment w/ Add - lets you set the little comment message when adding. Click on the Edit Cmt. button to edit the message.
  • Message & Add - some people believe that sending a message while adding helps them gain friends faster. It can be a great tool, but at the same time it can also cause your account to be deleted for SPAM. If you use this feature please make sure to create a message that will not put people off into clicking the spam button.
  • Approve & Comment - Is the same as "Approval" mode, it will auto approve and comment your new friends. If this is checked, the program will do this before adding new friends.
  • Direct To Add - rather than going to the persons profile than clicking on the add link, if this is checked the program will go right to the add page (speeding it up), but at the same time not acting like a human would act.
  • Skip Bands - you will only be able to use this when Direct To Add is not on. It will go to the profile you are trying to add, and if it is a band it will skip it.
  • Filter - Filter allows you to put in specific words that must be on the persons profile, for them to be added. Also only checkable if Direct To Add is off. This is a very good way to filter out if you want to add only Female users, or if you want someone from a specific city or town. If the word in the filter is not generic it will cause a lot of profiles to be skipped, this means you will get fewer adds.
  • Reset People Asked Already - The program keeps track of the people it asks based on your login email. If you click on this button, that list will be deleted and you will start it over. This means you can reask any people that didn't accept your profile before.

Comment Mode

Basic Settings

  • Comment mode has three tabs that will allow you to comment, all of your friends, specific friends, and just new friends.
  • All - This mode allows you to comment all of your friends. It will simply go through your friend list one by one in random order and leave either a HTML comment or a Text comment (if the profile you are commenting disabled HTML). Just type in the comments into both of the boxes and click start.
  • Specific List - Allows you to do a targeted comment campaign. Start by clicking on Edit list of People To Send To button. Once you click this button, a sync screen will come up. This will go through all of your friends profiles and download important details. Once the details are downloaded you will be presented with a friend selector screen. Here you can go through and hand pick the users you want to send the comments to. You can sort on their details like city, or use the filters on top to select things like gender. In this screen you can also save that list for later by using export, or load a previously saved list by kicking import. Once you are done selecting friends for the "active list" click on the X to close out of friend selector. Now just type in the comments into the boxes and click start, you will now send comments to those specific people on the list.
  • New Friends - This mode will send a comment to the people you previously asked during add mode that have accepted your add.

Properties

  • Direct To Comment - lets the software go directly to the comment page, instead of going to the profile and clicking on the comment link.

Message Mode

Basic Settings

  • Message mode will go randomly through your friend list and message all of the people on it.
  • Simply type in the subject and message body you want to send out.

Properties

  • Only send to people online - will limit the sending to only people currently online.
  • Send to specific list - will only send messages to the active specific list <see edit specific list>
  • Direct To Message - will go directly to the message page, skipping the profile view.

Bulletin Mode

Basic Settings

  • Bulletin mode lets you post bulletins every x minutes. Myspace will not allow you to post the same bulletin over and over again. So to use this part of the program properly must enter multiple different bulletins, with different subjects.
  • Add Bulletin - lets you add a bulletin to the list of bulletins to post
  • Delete Bulletin - lets you delete a bulletin from the list.

Properties

  • Lets you set the minutes between bulletin posting.

Birthday Mode

Basic Settings

  • Birthday mode is a special comment mode that only sends comments to people who have their birthday today.
  • Like all other comment modes both HTML and Text comment must be filled in, and the Text comment will be sent if the user doesn't accept HTML

Approval Mode

Basic Settings

  • This mode will automatically approve any new friends waiting for approval and leave them a comment. Make sure you myspace auto approval setting is off on the website, to use this part of the program.

Friend Status Mode

Basic Settings

  • Friend Status allows you to automatically update your status every x minutes. Status is a good alternative to bulletin, since you can post the same status over and over. It is still a good idea to add multiple messages.

Music Player+ Mode

Basic Settings

  • Music Player Plus will automatically increase your plays by playing your songs over and over again. Be conservative with the settings on this mode and slowly raise your statistics.
